CorePower Yoga (CPY) is the latest tenant in The Pizzuti Companies’ Short North development, The Joseph.
The Denver, Colorado-based company has leased the remaining 2,500 square feet in The Joseph’s office/retail building at 629 North High Street. CPY’s studio will front Millay Alley, and is scheduled to open later this year.
“CorePower Yoga is an excellent addition to the Short North and The Joseph,” said Joel S. Pizzuti, President and COO of The Pizzuti Companies. “With CPY’s lease, the office building is 100% leased.”
“We’re extremely pleased to welcome CPY to the Short North,” Pizzuti added. “The Joseph has attracted an outstanding mix of office and retail uses.
CorePower Yoga opened its first studio in Denver in 2002; as of September 2015, the company has grown to include 130 studios in 14 states. Its first Ohio studio is scheduled to open at the Easton Town Center in November.
“We’ve had our eyes set on the vibrant Columbus market for quite some time and could not be more excited about the two locations we’ll soon call home,” said Tess Roering, Chief Marketing Officer, CorePower Yoga. “We know the active Columbus community shares in our commitment to living stronger both mentally and physically, and we can’t wait for them to experience the magic of CorePower Yoga.”
