The Pizzuti Companies and West-Ward Pharmaceuticals broke ground today on a new distribution center in the CreekSide Industrial Center.

The new 275,869-square-foot distribution facility is being built at 2130 Rohr Road in Obetz. The facility will be a validated, temperature-controlled warehouse with LED motion-activated lighting throughout.

Pizzuti, President of The Pizzuti Companies. “The new facility will be built in a manner that allows West-Ward Pharmaceuticals to effectively and efficiently serve its customers now and in the future.”

The West-Ward facility design and construction team includes Red Architects, BRH Group, Jezerinac Geers and Pizzuti Construction Services. Pizzuti Vice President of Development Phil Rasey represented The Pizzuti Companies in the lease transaction; Jeff Lee of JWL Real Estate represented West-Ward Pharmaceuticals.

The facility is scheduled for completion in October 2016.
