The East Residences at Library Park offer luxury living in the heart of the Discovery District of Columbus, Ohio
The Pizzuti Companies has announced leasing is underway and the model room is now open for tours at the second phase of Library Park, an 80-unit luxury residential building located at 409 Oak Street in the Discovery District of downtown Columbus.
Conveniently located across from Topiary Park and the Columbus Metropolitan Library, the five-story building includes a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom units. Walk-up units along Oak and 9th Streets feature pocket gardens designed to complement Topiary Park and the surrounding residential developments.
“The Discovery District is a vibrant, growing neighborhood,” said Jon Riewald, Vice President of Development for The Pizzuti Companies. “Building on this momentum, Library Park provides those attracted to the community’s walkability, proximity to Topiary Park, and urban lifestyle an opportunity to reside in a new-construction, luxury community that includes modern features, robust amenities, and top-of-market finishes.”
Those who choose to call the East Residences at Library Park home will have access to numerous amenities including a European-inspired outdoor plaza with café seating, an on-site parking garage, a 24/7 secure package room, controlled key fob access, building video intercom system, and on-site pet spa. The fifth floor is highlighted by a rooftop clubroom and outdoor terrace with incredible views of Topiary Park.
Unit features include kitchen islands with barstool seating, quartz countertops and vanities, porcelain tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, wood-style flooring throughout, in-unit washers and dryers, mosaic tile bathroom floor, Nest Learning Thermostats, custom walk-in closets, and recessed lighting. Select units feature a combination of waterfall islands with barstool seating, upgraded KitchenAid appliance packages, illuminated bathroom mirrors, Ring video doorbell, private outdoor terraces with tranquil views of Topiary Park, and walk-up private entrances with pocket parks.
Library Park is a collection of six residential buildings, each with their own distinct characteristics but unified by a contemporary art program specifically curated or exclusively created for the individual spaces.
“From the hallways to the exterior, art and design work together to create an environment where residents can find inspiration and re-energize,” said Joel S. Pizzuti, President and CEO of The Pizzuti Companies. “Recognizing the importance of art in daily life, Library Park features an every-growing selection of artwork displayed in a variety of creative ways. Here, living with art has never been easier.”
With a unique combination of renovation and new construction, Library Park is comprised of three phases totaling 295 apartment homes. The South Residences, the first phase of Library Park, are beautifully restored studio and one-bedroom apartment homes. Renovations were completed in the Spring of 2020 and unit availability is limited. The East Residences, described here, are slated to welcome first residents this weekend. The North Residences, the third phase of development, are new construction apartment homes featuring resort-style living. Construction is currently underway and is expected to be completed in late 2021.
The second phase of Library Park features the work of a talented project team, including design architects at Lupton Rausch Architecture; interior design by 6 Design, LLC; branding by Blackletter, and construction management by Elford, Inc.
