The Pizzuti Companies has announced the opening of The Residences at the Sutton, a new, luxury multi-family development in the Short North Arts District of Columbus, Ohio. Move-ins for first residents have officially begun.
The thoughtfully curated six-story project is located one block off High Street at 30 West First Avenue, within walking distance of Italian Village Park and Goodale Park as well as the neighborhood’s best shopping, dining, and retail. The development includes 100 distinctively designed apartment homes including spacious studio, one-, and two-bedroom floor plans and 123 secured parking spaces.
“The Short North is one of Columbus’ most attractive neighborhoods, offering residents convenient access to parks, shopping, and dining outlets,” said Jamie McNally, Director of Development for The Pizzuti Companies. “The Sutton offers the finest in urban living, and we are pleased to welcome first residents to the community.”
A fitness center with Peloton bike and dedicated yoga area, an indoor parking garage with electric car charging stations, and a 24/7 secure package room are among the community’s many amenities. The third floor is highlighted by a 2,000-square-foot heavily landscaped amenity deck with bocce ball court, barbecue grills, and a fire pit, as well as a resident club room with booth seating and Hi-Fi record player.
Recognizing the importance of living with art, The Sutton showcases an extensive art program that includes pieces by local and national artists. These contemporary works include black and white photography, dynamic videos, custom neon, and newly published prints by Joseph Editions.
“Whether passing through the lobby, relaxing in the clubhouse, or checking their mail, residents will be surrounded by an environment that entertains, inspires, and fosters creativity,” said Joel S. Pizzuti, President and CEO of The Pizzuti Companies. “The Sutton’s art program is an amenity unlike any other in the Short North.”
Residents are invited to choose from two different finish packages, each featuring chef-inspired kitchens with quartz countertops and stainless-steel Whirlpool appliances, Wi-Fi enabled thermostats, generous walk-in closets, in-unit washers and dryers, and an abundance of natural light. Select apartment homes will also include expansive outdoor balconies or convenient private, walk-up entrances. The Sutton boasts spacious floor plans range from over 500-square-foot studio apartment homes to over 1,300-square-foot two-bedroom units.
