Pizzuti announces construction has begun on two speculative buildings at Global Court Logistics Center.
The Pizzuti Companies have broken ground on two speculative buildings in Global Court Logistics Center, located in the Rickenbacker submarket of Columbus, Ohio.
Work is in progress on Global Court I, a 158,700 square foot building, and Global Court II, a 196,400 square foot building. Designed to accommodate both single and multi-tenant users, the buildings are divisible to meet users’ specific needs.
Located on a 20-acre site on Global Court, the buildings feature direct access to Alum Creek Drive, 32-foot clear heights, LED lighting throughout, and a 15-year, 100 percent tax abatement. Building I includes 38 potential dock doors, four potential grade doors, and three separate entry features to accommodate tenants from 35,000-square-feet. Building II includes 44 potential dock doors, four potential grade doors, and three separate entry features to accommodate tenants from 35,000-square-feet.
Since 1998, Pizzuti has developed more than 12 million square feet of build-to-suit and speculative warehouse space in the Rickenbacker submarket. Spanning approximately 700 acres, CreekSide Industrial Center and Rickenbacker West Industrial Center are fully developed.
“Available land in the Rickenbacker submarket is incredibly scarce,” said Mike Chivini, Executive Vice President of Development for The Pizzuti Companies. “Strategically located adjacent to CreekSide Industrial Center, Pizzuti’s fully-leased, 700-acre master-planned industrial park and adjacent to an over 1 million square foot Amazon Distribution Center, Global Court Logistics Center is being constructed on the last undeveloped site between I-270 and the Rickenbacker airport.”
Both Global Court I and II are scheduled for completion in December 2021.
