COLUMBUS, OH – William J. Brennan has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Pizzuti Companies.

In his new position, Brennan will oversee all of Pizzuti’s financial activities and will be based in Pizzuti’s Columbus corporate headquarters.

“I’m extremely pleased to welcome Bill to The Pizzuti Companies,” said company founder and CEO Ron Pizzuti. “Bill has a long history of experience in the real estate investment and banking fields and will play an important role as the newest member of our senior executive team.”

Brennan joins Pizzuti as several key projects are moving forward, including a new boutique hotel and mixed-use development in the Short North area of Columbus; Exploration Park, a high-tech research and office park on the grounds of the Kennedy Space Center on Florida’s Space Coast; and The Sevens, a high-rise office building planned in downtown Orlando.

Prior to joining Pizzuti, Brennan was Managing Director and Senior Vice President – Real Estate Capital Markets for KeyCorp, where he managed the investment origination and portfolio management teams for the bank’s real estate funds.

Brennan served in other investment-related positions at Key, as well as real estate organizations in Tampa, Florida and Portland, Oregon.

Brennan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University.

He is an active speaker and panelist at various real estate forums and conferences including NAIOP, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and IMN (Information Management Network), and is a past guest speaker for the University of Florida’s Center for Real Estate Studies’ MBA program.
