The new Joseph parking garage in the Short North will open to the public at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7.
The 313-space parking garage, part of The Pizzuti Companies’ mixed-use Joseph development, can be accessed from Russell Street via North High Street. Garage patrons will exit on Russell to Park Street. The traffic flow on Russell Street is now one-way westbound between High and Park streets.
“The opening of the new Joseph parking garage is an important step in the overall Joseph development and will provide ample parking for patrons visiting Short North retailers, including the recently opened Anthropologie store,” said Joel S. Pizzuti, president of The Pizzuti Companies. “The new garage is convenient for Short North visitors as well as the soon-to-be completed hotel and office components of the Joseph development.”
The Joseph office/retail building is nearing completion; its first tenant, Anthropologie, opened in early October. Le Meridien Columbus, The Joseph – the city’s first true boutique hotel – is scheduled to open in mid-January. The Pizzuti Collection, exhibition space to display the private art collection of Ron and Ann Pizzuti, opened in September 2013.
The new parking garage will be open 24/7 with automated pay stations that accept credit cards and cash.
