Officials in the City of Union and Boone County, Kentucky had adopted a “Union Town Plan” in 2000, which impacted thousands of undeveloped acreage. City and county officials determined that a review of this plan was necessary to evaluate its validity relative to current market conditions.
Pizzuti Solutions conducted a complete analysis of the “Union Town Plan” to determine areas in need of refinement. This evaluation included a commercial and residential market analysis, a review of the completed master plan, and a review of zoning and development standards as the basis for updating the focus of the plan.
The resulting report identified potential obstacles and opportunities within the previous “Union Town Plan” that may affect potential development. The Pizzuti Solutions report outlined a logical area development phasing strategy and identified immediate, short-term, and long-term implementation objectives.
