Travel and Leisure readers for a second consecutive year voted The Joseph Nashville, a Luxury Collection Hotel, as the number one hotel in Nashville. Highlighting this prestigious World’s Best Award are The Joseph’s accommodations, rooftop saltwater pool and fine dining at Yolan, with a score of 95.43.

Embracing the Luxury Collection’s reputation for providing unparalleled guest experiences, the twenty-first floor of The Joseph Nashville boasts a full-service luxury spa, state-of-the art fitness center with floor-to-ceiling windows, and an expansive pool deck and contemporary bar. Towering more than 200 feet in the air, the entire rooftop has unobstructed views of the Nashville skyline and Cumberland River.
Inviting guests to "live with art", The Joseph Nashville is also home to more than 1,000 works of art specifically commissioned by artists with a unique connection to the state of Tennessee. These limited-edition prints comprise the Tennessee Portfolio and are found in the property's guest rooms. Additional pieces include the front desk embellishment of a hand-tooled, custom-designed leather panel by bootmaker Lucchese. Upon closer inspection, the design reveals the story of a Monarch butterfly as it migrates north through the homes of Lucchese (Texas), The Joseph (Tennessee), and owners of the hotel, the Pizzuti family (Ohio). Contributions from the Pizzuti family’s private collection include works by artists such as Jason Middlebrook, Allison Zuckerman, Alec Soth, Dave Muller, Hank Willis Thomas, Jackie Saccoccio, and Misha Kahn.

The original Joseph Hotel opened in 2015 and is located in the Short North Arts District in downtown Columbus. In 2015 Architectural Digest placed the hotel on its “11 Best New Hotels Around the World” list. Featuring the work of local Ohio artists, the original hotel also displays art from the Pizzuti family’s contemporary art collection.
