The Pizzuti Companies was selected to develop a build-to-suit, Class A industrial facility for Crate & Barrel in Romeoville, Illinois. The new logistics facility was developed at Pinnacle Business Center, located in the heart of Chicago’s I-55 corridor.
Crate & Barrel, a national home décor company that specializes in housewares, furniture, and home accessories, occupies Pinnacle XXIV, a 646,380-square-foot building. The build-to-suit development serves as an e-commerce facility to address the company’s continued growth and represents both facility consolidation and expansion.
Located on over 40-acres in Pinnacle Business Center, the development features upgraded insulation, 430 car parking spaces, and 115 trailer spaces, all ideal for today’s contemporary logistics user.
Pinnacle Business Center is Pizzuti’s master planned business center, and includes both speculative and build-to-suit warehouse, distribution, and light industrial facilities, including two 900,000-square-foot build-to-suit distribution facilities for Pactiv Corporation; a 650,000-square-foot build-to-suit logistics facility for Crate & Barrel; and over 5 million square feet of speculative development.
